These terms apply to access to and use of USEMAGISTER, provided by Granlund Kompetansesenter AS, org. no. 989 434 624, Markadompa 5, 2760 Brandbu, Norway. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
USEMAGISTER offers learning programs, microlearning, practical tools and AI-based features: AI Safety Analysis, Understanding and AI Coach. The content is general support for learning and hazard awareness. It does not replace the employer's statutory health and safety responsibilities, competent professional judgement or on-site risk assessment.
AI-generated content
AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. AI Safety Analysis is a guidance tool, not a certified safety inspection or a complete risk assessment. The organisation must verify findings itself and carry out the necessary risk assessments and safety measures.
Accounts
Each account is personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity in your account. Tell us straight away at support@usemagister.com if you suspect misuse. On company plans, the organisation's administrators manage which employees hold a seat.
Your content
You keep the rights to the content you upload. You give us the right to store and process it to the extent needed to deliver the service, including AI analysis. You are responsible for having the right to upload it, and for avoiding unnecessary personal data, confidential material and third-party content without permission.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. For example, you must not try to gain unauthorised access, overload or disrupt the service, copy content for redistribution, or upload unlawful material. We may restrict or close access in the event of material misuse, after an appropriate process.
Subscriptions and payment
• Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, including the VAT that applies to you. • Subscriptions are paid monthly or yearly through Mollie and renew automatically until you cancel. • You can stop automatic renewal at any time under Billing & Membership. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. • If a renewal payment fails, you get a short grace period to update the payment method before access ends. • Company plans are priced per number of seats. • Users without a subscription can try each premium feature once for free. • We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes, and they apply from the next renewal.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven). Business customers have no right of withdrawal. For refund requests, contact support@usemagister.com.
Intellectual property
The software, design and learning content in USEMAGISTER belong to Granlund Kompetansesenter AS or its licensors. A subscription gives a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for its purpose.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service stable and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Within the limits of the law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated suggestions. Liability towards business customers is limited to the amount paid for the last 12 months.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Significant changes are announced at least 30 days in advance. Norwegian law applies. Disputes should first be resolved through dialogue. Consumers may also contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) and the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget).
